Weave with Moms

Since last year, we have been supporting a group of ladies from YWCA who they reach out to in forming a sewing group. The aim of this initiative is to equip them with skill sets so they not only gain additional income through producing products for clients, but it also gives them a safe space to build up their personal confidence and develop friendships with one another. Our hope is to recruit volunteers who can encourage them along the way through outings and casual gatherings at YWCA’s centre scheduled in October, hoping to increase the ladies' desire of social inclusion.
