Summer English Oral Practice for Children

In partnership with Grace Free Methodist Church, we are recruiting English speaking tutors who enjoy serving children and would like to help build up their confidence through using a fun and activity based approach. Volunteers are welcome to prepare their own materials or games, or use our curriculum that has been prepared during the scheduled dates. The church hopes to offer academic support for the children followed by fellowship time using bible stories, games, videos and crafts. Volunteers will be matched with two children whom you'll tutor on a weekly basis on Saturdays from 2:30pm to 3:30pm for eight weeks over the summer break (Jul to Aug), and volunteers are welcome to join the kids' fellowship (3:30pm - 4:30pm) if you'd like to connect with the kids through arts and crafts and story-telling time.
