About the Event
We are launching a new cycle of the Mommies Learn English class for the women referred to us by a local church in North Point. These women are eager to gain empowerment before re-entering the workforce.
We are seeking volunteers to support these women in their learning journey, providing in-class revision and oral practice to boost their confidence. The classes will be led by a teacher, and teaching assistants will be assigned to small groups of women to offer encouragement and support over the coming months. Our aim is to establish a nurturing environment for these women to thrive, grow, and form connections with each other. Therefore, volunteers are expected to commit to at least one academic year to facilitate relationship building.
Dates: September 23, 2025 - May 29, 2026 (Tuesdays & Fridays)
Time: 9:30am - 11am
