About the Event
Our Mommies Learn English (Beginners Level) classes runs twice a week for Sham Shui Po ladies referred to us by our local partner. These ladies hope to be empowered before they enter back to the working field. We are looking for volunteers who can support the class teacher by assisting the ladies in learning through in-class revision and oral-practice with the mothers in order to strengthen the ladies' confidence. Volunteers can sign up for at least four or more sessions to get a taste of what it is like to connect with our Sham Shui Po ladies as well as meet our regular volunteers who serve weekly to build relationships with the ladies and spur them on in their learning.
Dates: Nov 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28, 30 (Tuesdays and/or Thursdays)
Time: 9:30am - 11am
Note: Please register ahead of time so we can plan accordingly. Due to the limited capacity, we may not be able to accommodate all registered participants.
