About the Event
We are kicking off a new round of Mommies Learn English class for our Sham Shui Po ladies who were referred to us by our local partners. These ladies hope to be empowered before they enter back to the working field.
We are looking for volunteers who can assist the ladies in learning through in-class revision and oral-practice with the mothers in order to strengthen the ladies' confidence. The class will be led by a teacher, so teaching assistants will be matched with a small group of ladies whom you'll encourage and walk with in the coming months. We hope to create a safe space for the ladies to flourish, grow and bond with one another, so volunteers are required to commit to at least one academic year to foster relationship building. Volunteers are required to commit to joining the classes every Tuesday and/or Thursdays.
Time: 9:30am - 11am (every Tue and/or Thu)
