About the Event
This year marks Hope of the City's 13th year of serving our neighbours. We would like to take this chance to celebrate with YOU who have been faithfully walking with the elderly, children, mothers, men, homeless and/or youth in our community. Throughout the afternoon, our volunteers and beneficiaries will share how they have witnessed God's work of mercy towards the city and together we’ll explore His heartbeat for all people.
The party will also showcase performances and achievements that the youth from our mentorship program have learnt over the past few months, including dance and band performances, 3D modelling, photography and coffee making.
Doors will open at 2pm, so come by and enjoy coffee served by our youth, and taste the chiffon cake baked by our ladies. The graduation projects of the youth will also be on display.
2pm - 3pm: Doors open; coffee and cake served
3pm - 5pm: Sharing and performances
“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven."
- Matthew 5:14-16
