Getting Started with English

Christian Church of Mustard Seed is looking for English tutors to help prepare upper primary school students (P4-P6) as they enter into a new school year. As the students move up a grade, they are exposed to new vocabulary and grammar rules which can often be daunting and unfamiliar. So, the aim of these intensive classes is to better support the students' learning by helping them get a head start to learning English that is relevant to their grade level. We are recruiting volunteers who enjoy being with kids and have experience in tutoring primary school students. Volunteers will be matched with two students of the same grade and will spend the two weeks going through English prep workbooks prepared by the church to assist the students' writing, reading and comprehension.

Time: 2:15pm - 3:30pm
