About the Event
We are partnering with Hong Kong Yan Kei Evangelical Church who has been serving in the Cheung Sha Wan neighborhood for many years. They have expressed a need for teachers to support the elementary (P2-6) students’ English oral skills.
The format will be 1 teacher to 1-3 students, 1.5 hours each class for one school year every Saturday. The church doesn't provide teaching material for the tutors at the early stage. They will ask the students to bring their English homework and textbooks on the first tutorial session and encourage the tutoring teachers to understand the English standard of each student first, and may provide relevant reference support afterwards.
Duration: Sep 2024 -May 2025
Commitment: Weekly, Saturdays (off on public holidays)
Time: 10:30am - 12pm
