About the Event
We are partnering with a local church called Christian Church of Mustard Seed which is located in Sham Shui Po. We are recruiting English speaking tutors who enjoy serving children and would like to help build up their confidence through using a fun and engaging activity-based approach. Confirmed volunteers will be grouped together to take turns to lead, prepare materials and facilitate the activities that encourage the children to practice speaking English. There will be a volunteer tutor training on March 4 from 10am - 11:30am before we kickstart on March 11.
Term 2: Mar 4 (tutor training), 11*, 18, 25*, Apr 1*, 15, 22*, 29
Term 3: May 6, 13*, 20, 27*, Jun 3*, 10*, 17*, 24*
*Some of the children have a school activity so classes will start and end later (10am - 11:15am)
