About the Event
We are partnering with a local church called Christian Church of Mustard Seed which is located in Sham Shui Po. We are recruiting volunteers who enjoy serving children (P1-P6) and would like to host fun, interactive and game-based activities for the kids. Confirmed volunteers will be paired up to take turns to lead, prepare materials and facilitate activities that promote experiential learning (eg. games, arts & crafts, cooking and baking projects, faith, hands-on/practical experience). On the days volunteers are not leading, they will support the students and assist the lead facilitators. We will schedule two planning dates to prep for the lessons. To foster relationship building with the students, we ask that volunteers commit to the scheduled dates. This year, the theme is 'Metamorphosis', and each day of the week will be focused on a specific activity (Eg. Mondays - Games, Tuesdays - Arts & Crafts, Wednesdays - Baking/Cooking, Thursdays - Faith, Fridays - Hands on/Practical Experience).
