Children Learn English

Mongkok Baptist Church is introducing a new Children's Learning English (CLE) class for primary school children every Saturday afternoon from 2:45 pm to 4:00 pm. This class, unlike the previous Fun & Phonics sessions, will place a stronger emphasis on grammar, comprehension, and reading skills. While mothers participate in the women's fellowship, their children will engage in an English class followed by an hour of Bible fun led by a Bible school teacher. Both segments are designed to provide an interactive and engaging learning environment, incorporating activities like arts and crafts, singing, and games.

We are seeking teaching assistants for CLE who have experience working with children with special educational needs to support the lead teachers during lessons. Volunteers must commit to the specified schedule to build a positive relationship with the students.

Dates: To be confirmed, Saturdays (weekly)

Time: 2:45pm - 4pm (Children's Learning English) / 4pm - 5:30pm (optional for volunteers, Bible Class)

Language: Bilingual (Cantonese & English)
