About the Event
We have been running our Youth Mentorship Program named the altR program for the fourth time, with our partner, YWCA to journey alongside with the disengaged youth in Sham Shui Po as they explore different activities and hobbies.
Before we officially launch the next 3-month altR in January 2024, we will be hosting a Christmas party where we will invite the new youth who have signed up, together with the alumni from the past three altR programs and our previous mentors to celebrate this festive season. Activities include barbequing, board/video games and karaoking and our hope is for our new youth to experience the power of community through meeting our graduated youth, Hope of the City team, our devoted mentors and all the YWCA social workers who are overseeing the program.
What's better to wrap up 2023 than loving the next generation through games and food? So come join us to make memories through the Christmas reunion party if you have a heart for youth!
